Chew Chong established the Rawhitiroa creamery on the corner of Rawhitiroa and Maata Roads in 1898. The creamery supplied the Jubilee butter factory in Eltham.
The first Manager was Sam Carter and the creamery appears to have closed down around 1902 when Chew Chong sold his Jubilee butter factory in Eltham.
Unclear whether there are any physical remains (foundations etc) but these appear unlikely given the aerial photo of the location below.
