The White Cliffs butter factory was built by the Crown Dairy Company in late 1899. It was located at 439 Pukearuhe Road on a sub-divided 2 acre block of land.
The butter factory had a relatively short life between 1899 and 1905 although it’s uncertain what happened to the factory once it closed.
